The IMMC is dedicated to offering creative learning experiences for everyone.
Our exhibitions are meant to ignite curiosity, foster critical-thinking skills, and present challenging and engaging learning environments for our visitors.
IMMC offers a variety of educational programs, workshops and resources including a full teaching curriculum for pupils of all grade levels, the Timbuktu Human Dignity Curriculum. In an effort to support arts and culture integration in all classrooms, the Museum offers a wide variety of teacher resources and professional development experiences for educators of all subject areas.

Community Workshops & Talks

Alongside our exhibitions, the IMMC makes an effort to offer specialized workshops by professionals and experts in the subject areas related to our exhibitions through the Islamic Thought Institute, the research and development center of the IMMC, in partnership with Tougaloo and Millsaps Colleges.
